This is a very unusual, cluttered composition for me. I would never have shot this as a picture, if it weren't for the fact that I had selected this spot for my time lapse movie, Namibian Nights. Movie and still photography are two completely different entities. With photography you only have to find one good composition, but with video you have to come up with several - the camera is moving, so you have to find a composition that works for the beginning and one the works for the end as well.
This is a still from the time lapse. The shadows are created by full moon. In the time lapse you can see the shadows growing - really cool.
