Delicate Arch is by far the most iconic, most photographed subject in Utah, USA. Everything has been done here before. Well, apart from this. I wanted to take a star trail shot with Delicate Arch in it, but I had already seen star trail shots taken at Delicate Arch before, so I had to come up with a different approach. I decided to pick a less obvious location, far away from the arch itself.
To get the shot I had to use a 70-200 lens because of the distance. I left my camera at the location overnight. The batteries didn't last very long, as it was mid winter and freezing like crazy.
